Confidence is Key

One of the most important things to remember in a job interview, or the whole process in general, is to have confidence in yourself. don't cross the line into cocky, but instead be relaxed and believe that you are the right person for the job. Anytime you talk with a someone connected to the company with which you are interviewing, remember first that they all talk amongst themselves constantly. For this reason, you need to make the same positive impression with everyone you meet or talk with. Answer questions clearly and distinctly. It's ok not to have every answer completely prepared as if you were giving a public speech to a full court press. This shows you are in fact human. You should however, be able to think on your feet and provide an answer quicker than most reality game show contestants. Being able to communicate effectively with those that will become your peers and supervisors will put you in the top running for the job you want. Remember, the people interviewing you are not only looking to see that you have the knowledge and skills to perform your job, but they are also looking to see whether they can get along with you and if you are the type of person that would fit into their organization. Keep your confidence up, be upbeat and friendly and you will leave the right impression.
